Belt driven transmission and pull-pull tail control put the Caliber 50 FBL in a unique spot in the nitro market. The machine is quite capable of 3D flight but at the same time can be configured as an excellent training platform

Nitro is a good starting point for a student given the long flight time and simplicity of just fuel and go. The other important consideration is cost per crash... You WILL crash at some point on your learning path (and after!). The injection moulded frames of the 50 are able to be replaced individually and are inexpensive.. as are the other components that make up the machine.

44 bearings, belt drive and injection moulded transmission / frame make this a smooth helicopter to fly and easy to maintain.
